While sitting in this snow storm I thought it was about time to share some pictures from my weekend in New York City. We arrived very early in the morning, after getting on a train from Union Station at 4am. Tired and a little groggy we began our adventure around the city.
We started by heading towards Rockefeller Center where the NBC building is, being that it was only a few blocks from the hotel. Then went to St. Patricks Cathedral, noting that it may have had a recent cleaning. The outside was very evenly toned and didn’t have many signs of weathering. The inside was of course as gorgeous as always. We then headed to the MoMA (I will include pictures of this in another post). Following the museum was a much needed nap and then we headed down to the Village and found some dinner, a great bookstore, and some cool places to walk by. My dad took me to White Horse Tavern in the West Village where the writer Dylan Thomas famously drank himself to death.
